So this week was Manda's birthday party and also a Skirts and Dresses day at my place! Mum whipped up a really awesome meal for us, what with coconut rice, chicken curry, beef curry and salad. :) Syukur Alhamdulillah I have a mum like her. Really. We all made it a point to come all dressed up for the fun of it and yes it was really fun and gave us a really good reason to take lots of pictures! It was a nice relaxing day with the glam photoshoots, scrumptious meal, the chilling out, the sleepy mood and everything. :)

Hahahhaa yup I'm not exactly gonna upload many pictures here because 1) it's a blog and I can't exactly regulate who can see and who can't = cannot monitor security 2) it'll be up on facebook for friends to see. So yup hi guys (I think tall and ziqah read my blog so hey gorjuzes) look out for that sometime round soon lah ah.

And today went out with my dear miramoi to have a movie and shop and eat! We watched New Years' Eve and yeah it was a nice movie. It's like you know lessons from before that you know but like it's a good reiteration sort of thing. Like here for example (no order in particular I'm just trying to remember things from the top of my head)

1) Be brave enough to take risks and to do what you love
2) Grow out of your shell and explore
3) Think and consider others' feelings and situations before you decide on something
4) Do good unto others instead of just thinking of yourself
5) Don't judge people just based on how they present themselves there's always more to it
6) Always put aside time for your family no matter what because they're what really matters
7) Learn from your past mistakes and never do it again and always remember to correct them
8) It's important to forgive people for whatever they've done wrong
9) Always do what you can to make others happy (it's also a way to make you feel good like duh haha)

These are just some I guess but to me the most oomph one which was relatively related to the idea of 'New Year' the most was that the eve of the New Year is time to reflect on what you've accomplished, what you regret, what you could've done but didn't do, and all that stuff. And that during the upcoming New Year, you should do all you can to make it worthwhile, and enjoy it no matter what comes to you along the way. That kind of thing I think. Yup. Good movie!

And sort of an emotional booster for me to you know rise up to the challenge that JC is gonna be next year. Here's to gameplan 2012 woohoo!

P.S. Masjid Al-Falah is a very nice masjid!!!
