Yay I'm quite happy I get to go for the graduation dinner now (I shall call it prom for short from now on even though it's totally far off from the whole prom concept). Really appreciate how Miss Chen put in a lot of time into making sure that the dinner catered to us Muslims. Because the food there isn't exactly halal. And what makes it even more exciting is that I'm going with really amazing people like Z, T, M, C, M, H, A and E. So far. :) Seriously cannot wait for prom but the preparing part of it is gonna be a bit difficult but I shall make do with the situation/circumstances I am in. The darlings wanna go prom shopping together. The whole idea of it is exciting. And maybe the planning of prom will be even more exciting than the real thing hahaha. Okay basically the entire process of prom's gonna be (insya'Allah) exciting and worth the money.

On another note, I just want to add that yeah we're given opportunities wherever we go, and it's important for us to embrace these opportunities. But I think at the same time we shouldn't overdo it in such a way that we could end up utilising an opporunity which was not meant to be for us. Like, for instance let's say there's this open for a top-notch high-paying job. Many people would definitely want to apply. But another really important question is whether you'll enjoy doing this job. Because money isn't exactly everything.

But then again I'm still a student so I won't exactly feel it yet. Maybe when I'm older. But there are similar non-money related situations which people my age go through, and yeah my point is we shouldn't just go ahead with something for the sake that it's there, because 1) we may not enjoy it and thus be wasting our time, and 2) we're just depriving someone else, possibly someone who really wants that particular thing, of the opportunity.

Now I'm gonna jump to options. MYB is pretty interesting. Learnt about anorexia and bulimia this week which made me kind of more aware of what exactly is encompassed under these two things. Also learnt about eating healthy, and the fact that I think my food pyramid is close to opposite that of the recommended one.

Hahahaha, by that I mean my whole category of unhealthy sweet foods is kinda what I mostly eat. Okay not exactly but yeah I definitely think I eat it more than I ought to. But okay my daily 'diet' definitely consists of at least one meal of rice/bread so that's a good thing. Oh and we did this experiment which made us come to the conclusion that broccoli is extremly healthy. And papaya lowers the rate of growth of breast cancer and that guys should eat tomatoes to prevent cancer at the pancreas or something like that. Tomatoes!!!!!

The electric guitar course is really cool. I just love how it's super informal and Mr Chew is a really interesting teacher. His opinions of shows like Sesame Street make me see things in a different light. We watch a lot of Youtube videos and see how youth are affected by pop stars and what not. And I think I came to the conclusion that the grandmothers of today are the equivalent of beliebers. Seriously the way they scream for the Beatles... wow. Hahahaha. And the assignment is simple yet nice. Like it's so relevant. I always look forward to this module. And the fact that Mr Chew does not believe in a 3-hour options session makes it even better. Hahahaha.

And now I think I better get going on Math. And other things. Ciao.
