I think being young is such a beautiful thing. It's when you learn new things about yourself, and about others. It's when you get to know more about the world around you; it's when you discover and appreciate. I can't say much, because I'm young myself, but I think it's safe to say that being my age, I've gone through quite a bit, but definitely not as much as others.

At this age of adolescence, many of us try to figure out who we are, what are interests are and all that. I think the journey that we go through at this stage of our lives is arduous, and at this point I shall say tiring. Often we would come across many dead ends, and two-split pathways. Making decisions is a standard procedure, and some of the choices we make now will definitely have a toll on our future. Besides all this, our feelings also develop and mature, and we may react differently as compared to before towards certain circumstances. Sometimes these feelings confuse us, and the actions we take to understand them may cause them to hurt us instead.

The mistakes we make, the risks we take, should be treasured, and of course lessons will be learned from them. All these will add on to the experiences we went through, and from it all, we will definitely emerge as stronger people. From it all, we will be more well-versed when it comes to making decisions or moves in the future. Also, it's better to make mistakes now, as compared to when you're an adult, because the consequences you face then may be more dire.

Being young, we are exposed to many things, be it the media, culture, technology, the world and more. We tend to have our own personal opinions on certain issues, and sometimes we may be influenced by others' thoughts. What is important is that we be influenced by positive things, and we have to be careful of who we rely on. We may disagree with our parents maybe due to the generation gap, but I think it's important for us to understand that they went through adolescence as well, and what they're trying to tell us would probably be lessons learnt from when they were young. Somethings may not work out, I agree, but they're one of the most important people in our lives, so we should consider what they are trying to say!

All in all, there's a lot to being young, and those who manage to go through this stage in life with success are definitely worth looking up to. With today's world developing at a fast pace and the major changes that have occurred from last time, I think today's young people have a lot of challenges to overcome, and let's pray we'll all have the determination to get through this triumphantly!
