Failure is unavoidable. Everyone fails at some point in their life. Not being pessimistic, just being realistic. I just felt like bringing up this issue because of certain things that have happened in the year so far, not only to me, but to my peers, family etc.

The moment failure engulfs you, you will definitely feel your heart sink. Probably because you know you've put in your heart and soul into this one particular thing, and you really think you deserve much more than you received for its outcome. This is completely rational, even I experience it sometimes.

However, with failures comes open doors and lessons learned. What is important is that we all get on with life, as nothing stops for us (because time doesn't). We've got to get up on our feet and keep on moving, because in life, we're gonna have to experience many many more circumstances, whether good or bad!

Now here it's competition season, so many of us will be going for various arts festivals and national leagues. Everyone works hard for these. For themselves, for the school, for their arts/sports group. Time and effort is dedicated for 1/3 of a year at least to prepare for these events. Through this journey, we would have forged stronger bonds with our friends, learnt from many mistakes. Tears of excitement and sorrow would also fill some empty spaces here and there along the way. In the end, we're all always proud of our group, because no matter what the result is, we KNOW we gave it our best shot.

However, the results may not always be what we want, no matter how much effort we put in. That's life. It's sad but true. If we achieve our goal, we'll definitely be over the roof, but if we don't it's not going to be easy. Yeah sure we'll be sad and all, and it will take a while for us to recover. It's understandable. In this case, it is good to know that there are always people around you who know exactly how you feel, because they went through the same journey as you.

Don't worry if you are facing failures/obstacles now. I believe that God doesn't give you something that you are not able to accomplish. There, that's motivation for you! :) And may I add, whatever you go through does make you a stronger person than before. It's important that you know this, as it is a personal accomplishment! Cheer up, okay?
