Learning to Love

Everyone has potential. I really believe in this fact. I believe that naturally everyone has something special about them that allows them to change the world in a way, no matter how big or small the change is.

It makes me sad when people show this sense of insecurity, although I believe it comes naturally. What we need to do is to overcome this sense by being aware of our skills and talents. Such things don't come easily for everyone. Some seem to be born with it, while others have to develop it to make it top-notch. Some of these things also come later in life, and you may be surprised as to what your talent is when you find it. Whatever you do, it isn't a good idea to let anything bring you down, or believe that you don't have any gift unlike your peers. Everyone is unique in their own way, and you have to accept that. And more importantly, you have to accept yourself. Learning to love yourself is the first step to gaining self-confidence to me.

A lot of things link via spiritually in my view, so I shall base the context of this post on this. To me, God has presented each and everyone of us with a certain specialty. It's our job to find it, develop it and use it for the world's own good. God loves us, and thus He creates us beautifully. And from this, I don't think it's right to judge whether someone is ugly or not. We have to love ourselves, because God loves us, and it would only be right to love what He loves, yes? :)

Whatever it may be, you just need to know you're beautiful just the way you are. You don't need the weighing scale, or the size tag of clothes to tell you that. Find your talent, and develop it. Love yourself for who you are, and continually strive more with each day. Have faith that God is always with you, and with some effort on your part, you'll definitely achieve what you aim for.
